Salesperson (In-House or Local to NYC)
This job is for hard core sales/marketing people who are masters in their sales skills. The job requires exquisite social media marketing skills and experience with demonstrable results. We offer totally transparent a la carte pricing, which makes selling our services fairly straight forward. We also offer custom solutions which are quoted on a per project basis and will support you through the technical specification process in those cases.
Ideal candidate will have basic understating of Web Design, Web Development, Open Source content management and ecommerce solutions, including Drupal and Wordress. Training can be provided to qualified local applicants.
Open Source Web Developer (In-House)
Open source Web developer needed. Candidate must be experienced with Drupal and one or more of the following: Wordpress, Joomla and Magento. Candidate must also have experience with template customization and theming. Experience with custom module development (PHP), eBook development, instructional design and/or mobile app development a plus. Preferred candidate will have some level of experience freelancing/working with clients to gather requirements. We'd really love it if he/she could occasionally write blogs on various topics for our small business audience, including SEO, social media optimization, CSS tips and tricks, and any other hot topics in online marketing or online education. Entrepreneurial spirit a plus.
Social Media Marketing Intern (In-House)
Social media marketing intern needed. Candidate should be experienced with blogger outreach, blog writing, social media management (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc) and press release writing; must be familiar with SEO best practices. Candidate will be responsible for increasing our thought leadership and website visitors by providing on-time, industry relevant information via our blog and newsletter. Will collaborate with CEO on content and marketing ideas. Ideal candidate will also have experience with one or more of the following: informational marketing – especially infographics – developing contests, affiliate programs, and video education. Entrepreneurial spirit a plus.
Demonstrable background and experience with social media marketing.
